Dr. Tim HO:

Pain and Rehabilitation Medicine Physician

Dr Tim Ho is a consultant in rehabilitation and pain medicine. He specialises in chronic MSK; neuropathic pain; headache and visceral pain.

He provides ultrasound guided intervention; Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injection, Pain Management Program and impairment and disability assessment. His other interest includes return to work program and neuropathic pain research.

Dr Ho also work as a pain and rehabilitation speciaslist at Sydney Adventis Hospital and Campbelltown Private Hospital.

He speaks fluent Chinese and English.

Dr. Clive SUN:

Rehabilitation Consultant

Dr Clive Sun is a consultant in rehabilitation medicine, college of physicians and pain medicine, college of anaesthetists. He speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. He
specializes in injury and chronic pain affecting the neck, back, shoulders, elbows,
hands and wrists, hips, knees, ankles and feet. He provides musculoskeletal
diagnosis, rehabilitation and treatment. He also provides impairment and disability
assessments.  Other interests include mild head injury, whiplash and adult
developmental disability. He is staff specialist at St Vincents Hospital and Fairfield
Hospital. He has been a consultant for 20 years and has rooms in Hurstville,
Haymarket, Campsie, Parramatta, Cabramatta and Fairfield.

Dr Kamal KOTHIYAL:

Dr. Kamal Kothiyal, formerly an academic lecturer at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, is an experienced and qualified Professional Counsellor. He has a Diploma in Counselling from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors and is an accredited counsellor with Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Dr. Kothiyal believes in working collaboratively with individual clients to help them better understand their work and life goals. He integrates various counselling approaches to empower clients to deal with their emotional and behavioural issues so that they feel motivated to take effective steps to move on in all spheres of life.

Dr. Kothiyal expresses his great passion for helping people who require support in dealing with work and life issues through his volunteer counselling work with Lifeline Australia and Family Drug Support (FDS).

Dr. Kothiyal also has a wide range of experience in Occupational Health and Safety field and was awarded a Certified Professional Ergonomists by HFESA. He has worked in various educational, research and industrial organizations.

Juliana LO, Nursing Manager:

Juliana has been a registered nurse for more than 25 years and she has wide range of experience in rehabilitation and age care facility. She is mainly developing accessing the patients needs on daily care and rehabilitation. She works with Specialist to develop a nursing care plan and allied health to develop rehabilitation plan.

David YUEN, Practice Manager (Clinical):

David has practised physiotherapy in St George and Sutherland area for more than 20 years. He has wide range of clinical experience and knowledge in rehabilitation and pain management. He hosted a meeting with different professionals every fortnight to facilitate specialist to formulate care plan or rehabilitation plan to clients.

Sheron M. SHEN (沈淼):

Clinical Counsellor

Languages spoken: English, Mandarin

Sheron is a bilingual counsellor and working for clients with Chinese background who speak Mandarin or Cantonese. The counselling services she provided include general counselling, WorkCover, relationship and couple counselling, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, and personal development. She has also been providing health services for the Government health organizations. She has been running the Chinese Carer Support Group for the Transcultural Mental Health Centre, and conducting community health education for the NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service. Sheron has obtained the Master of Applied Social Science (Counselling) in Australian College of Applied Psychology. She is a clinical member of Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of NSW (CAPA) and registered with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

 

 


 

 


Lisa CHEN:

Dietitian and Nutritionist

Languages spoken: English, Mandarin, Cantonese

Lisa is an accredited practicing dietitian (APD) currently working as a consulting dietitian across a range of different medical centres within South and South Western Sydney area in the past few years. She is the current full member of Dietitians Association of Australia, DAA.

Graduating with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney, she has the knowledge and skills to provide patients with appropriate dietary and lifestyle advice, and to coach them to optimal health and wellbeing. She is capable to offer services to patients with different health status and disease conditions, including pre-diabetes and diabetes Mellitus, overweight/obesity, underweight and malnutrition, cardiovascular disease, liver disease, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis and some food intolerance/ allergy issues. She was also being involved in some group education programs such as ‘Stepping On’ Fall Prevention and ‘Healthy Eating for people with Type Two Diabetes’ to deliver dietetic education in the local communities. 

Her special language skills, including English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Chaozhou Dialect allow her to more effectively communicate with patients from the Chinese community. The positive feedbacks 
from many GPs and patients are the best examples to demonstrate her success. 

Lisa is passionate about nutrition and providing guidance to patients to help them manage specific nutritional issues. She’d love to see people who needs dietetic or/and diabetic education service and will try her best to provide the best quality care.

Sam YEUNG:

Registered Acupuncturist

Languages spoken: English, Mandarin, Cantonese

Sam is a registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.  He has obtained the Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, also got the Advanced Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Sam is a member of FCMA.

Sam specialises in Pain Symptoms include chronic pain, headache, neck, back, frozen shoulder, bulging discs, sciatica, tennis elbow, achilles tendon problems, knee problems, prosopalgia.  Stress, depression, insomnia etc.
